OUR SERVICES

We are here to help you reach your goals.

Pre & Post-Operative Rehab

ACE’S expert rehab care provides patients with phased rehabilitation to treat orthopedic conditions of all types. Whether it is rotator cuff repairs, total joint replacements, ACL reconstruction, UCL reconstruction (aka Tommy John Surgery) – prehab to post-surgical, we will develop a comprehensive treatment plan that will focus on the needs of the individual to maximize their range of motion and strength and increase their daily functional ability.

Graston Technique®

Utilizing special tools that improve the clinician’s ability to detect and amplify soft tissue dysfuntion, Graston Technique® treatments help facilitate the healing of myofascial system by breaking up scar tissue, while offering a decrease in treatment time and allowing for a faster rehabilitation and recovery.

ACE often utilizes Graston Technique® to treat common injuries like: lateral/ medial epicondylitis, tendinopathies, plantar fasciitis, ITB syndrome, Carpal Tunnel, and ankle sprains.

Functional Dry Needling

Used to treat pain and movement impairments, dry needling stimulates the body’s natural healing processes by targeting trigger points in muscle bellies to reduce muscle spasm, improve mobility, and reduce pain. The technique is also used to target fascial restrictions or other connective tissues that your therapist is unable to manipulate with their hands.

Dry needling is performed in the clinic and is typically used as one piece of your treatment plan, in conjunction with exercise, other manual techniques, and activity modification.

Common areas for dry needling include shoulders, neck muscles, glutes, IT band, quads, and plantar fascia, though dry needling can be used in virtually any area of the body.

While dry needling is often confused with acupuncture due to the use of similar needles, acupuncture is an eastern medicine technique based on meridians and energy flow.

Manual Therapy

A specialized form of physical therapy utilizing various skilled, hands-on techniques, manual therapy helps restore soft tissue and joint restrictions, improve range of motion, and decrease pain to get you back to full function.

Through manual therapy techniques such as mobilization, manipulation, and massage, we will work to decrease pain and improve mobility.

FALL PREVENTION

With nearly one third of seniors suffering moderate to severe injuries during a fall, fall prevention services help strengthen and stabilize the body to improve balance and mobility, establish confidence, and reduce the risk of falling.

HEADACHES

Whether it’s migraines, tension headaches, cluster headaches, or medication overuse headaches, ACE performs a thorough history and evaluation of the neck, jaw, and upper back to understand the root cause of your symptoms and plan your treatment.

RELAXING STIM

After treatment, ACE offers patients the relaxation and electrical stimulation from our zero-gravity heated leather massage chairs. The e-stim targets muscles rather than nerves, and provides temporary pain relief and increased blood circulation.

Lumbar and Cervical Traction

Traction is a pain-relieving therapy that relieves pressure on compressed nerves, stretched muscles and joint structures, and decreases compressive forces in the neck and back. This therapy benefits patients suffering from herniated discs, back and neck strains, and acute arthritis.

ULTRASOUNDS

ULTRASOUNDS

Ultrasound is useful in healing muscle pain and reducing chronic inflammation. It is also helpful in enhancing the extensibility of tissues, which helps patients perform range of motion exercises.

LASER

Like ultrasound therapy, laser therapy reduces tissue inflammation, promotes healing, and reduces pain. An added benefit of laser therapy is patients do not feel it working, but they feel its effects.
